BI Developer/Analyst

Hybrid, 1x per week in office, Newcastle upon Tyne

A major electrical wholesaler is looking for a BI Developer to join them and help bring data to the centre of the business.


The Company


This is an amazing opportunity for a BI Developer or Analyst to join the growing data team of a major retailer of electrical products.

The company has recently branched into US markets and is currently turning over $3b annually.


The company has recently brought on a new Head of Data, who is looking to bring BI and data to the centre of the business.

You will play a key role in cultivating stakeholder relationships and helping the business become more data-driven.


The role and responsibilities

  • Project: transforming and migrating current Workday reports to Power BI
  • Reporting and dashboarding across the business, delivering data requests and big projects
  • Stakeholder management and communicating the importance of BI across the business

Your skills and experience

  • Experience with Power BI and SQL (essential)
  • Communication skills and experience with stakeholders (essential)
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure cloudbased BI services (desirable)
