justteachers teaching agency require an enthusiastic and committed Religious Studies teacher to work within one of our highly reputed and popular secondary schools located in Harrogate.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a wonderful school and make a positive impact. This Secondary teaching job will be on a long term supply basis to start September 2024.

You will ideally be teaching 5 days a week and the vacancy has the potential to become permanent following 12 working weeks on supply, the school are open to hearing from part-time candidates.

You will:

• Quickly build rapport with students, staff and parents alike
• Have the drive and determination to make a difference, and hit the ground running
• Be an inspirational class teacher, who has high expectations of pupils' achievement and behaviour

You will be expected to:

• Teach Religious Education within the school
• Work with the Head of R.E. Department in promoting the ethos of the school
• Have firm aims and objectives for all lessons, to identify individual

learning needs and devise ways of meeting these

• Maintain a full record of attendance, effort and attainment of all

students as well as records of lessons taught and homework set

• Ensure good supervision and discipline, through efficient planning and

delivery

• Recognise and celebrate achievement in Religious Education and to

promote an awareness of the importance of Religious Education in the
community

• Work as one of a team in curriculum development initiatives within

Religious Education
