Our client, a UK leading metal stockholder based in Essex, is currently seeking a dedicated and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to join their team.

This role involves overseeing a small team across two shifts, ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities and maintaining high standards of efficiency and safety.

Supervising a team of up to 8 warehouse operatives/drivers.
Loading and unloading wagons, ensuring timely and accurate handling of goods.
Planning routes for drivers using a tailored warehouse management system.
Order picking and ensuring accurate order fulfilment.
Liaising with the sales department to coordinate orders and deliveries.
Previous supervisory experience within warehouse/logistics preferred.
Strong work background in a general Warehouse Operative/team leader position will also be considered.
UK driving licence essential.
Computer literate with good communication skills.
Fortnightly rotating shifts, Monday to Friday:
~ 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
~ Annual profit share bonus, based on company and individual performance
~ Company pension scheme.
