Why Manchester?
There has never been a more exciting time to join our Manchester Brewery.

We're firmly planted in the community thanks to a number of investments in the site over the past few years, totalling more than £70 Million.

Our brewery remains a pivotal part of our UK supply chain network, producing around five hundred million litres per year of Foster's, Kronenbourg and, more recently - Heineken.

We're delighted to have been given the quality seal of approval from our Amsterdam Head Office to brew Heineken on our site - and as a bonus, we're making our carbon footprint smaller in the process.

What's the role?

This is a great role for an experienced Planner to get their teeth into, you will report directly to the Maintenance Manager, who you will need to work closely with as this role provides cover for when they are on leave, so not just your standard planner role.

This role will provide you with a good blend of leadership growth and technical ability; you will be an integral part of the operational team ensuring that production schedules are met.

This will be achieved through scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance plans to ensure HEINEKEN assets in the brewing department meet performance targets and comply with statutory requirements and HEINEKEN standards.

What are we looking for?

  • A positive outlook with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Experience of modern planned maintenance techniques and Computerised Maintenance Methodology (CMM) systems
  • Previous experience working in a similar highly automated and safety critical manufacturing site
  • Confidence and ability to work autonomously
