About the role


We have a fantastic opportunity at our Business Services Centre in Caerphilly for an Accounts Receivable Collections Team Leader to join our Finance function and work with colleagues to maximise cash collections and minimise bad debt within the business.

You will be responsible for the daily operations within the Collections team, monitoring KPIs and working with your colleagues to identify areas for improvement.


We'll be asking you to communicate clearly with your team so that effectiveness can be measured properly and processes can be implemented that will enable improved performance and a better customer experience.

You will also collaborate with various DS Smith sites and Finance functions, providing advice and expertise so that sites can work to improve their own credit issues with customers and develop more effective systems for the future.

About you

  • Experience in a similar role, where you have managed a small team
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and demonstrate credibility
  • Excellent prioritisation and time management skills
  • Strong communicator, both written and verbal
  • IT Literate, especially with Excel
  • SAP experience would be advantageous
