    Principal Housing Lawyer

Sellick Partnership are excited to be exclusively recruiting to a brilliant new Permanent Principal Housing and Disrepair Lawyer post to join the friendly Legal team at the London Borough of Lewisham.

    This is a full-time role and the Principal Housing Lawyer will be required to attend the offices in Catford at least twice per week.

    Advising the Council and senior officers on Housing Law and related matters
    Monitoring the quality of work undertaken by the team
    Managing a team of around 4 and ensuring adequate training and development
    Undertaking a full caseload of housing and disrepair matters, including homelessness, ASB, etc
    Liaising with clients in respect of service delivery, how to improve performance and standards within the team
    Presentation of training courses and seminars for staff members
    Deputising for the Head of Legal
    The successful Housing Lawyer will possess:
    A current practising certificate (either as a Barrister, Solicitor or Legal Executive)
    Strong experience in all matters relating to housing law
