Pay Rate: £ £25.00 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a LGV1 Trunk Driver to join our well-established client based in Motherwell. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay annd room to grow and progress.

• This role in temporary ongoing, and you will get your weekly rota 1 week in advance.
• You will receive your pay weekly, and there is realistic overtime available working with this client.

• Driver have access to Canteen & Vending Machines.
• This is a PAYE vacancy and therefore you will accrue holiday pay separately.
• The rates of pay are broken down as follows - £16 p/hr until 2200, £19 p/hr after 2200, rising to £25 p/hr for Saturday night shift.

Day to Day Duties

• You will be required to work any 4 nights from 7 and you will know your shifts a week in advance.
• There can be varied start times between depending on the route you are on.
• You will be required to take a double deck trailer to destination, and then assist with the unloading of rails, before returning to my clients premises.

Essential Skills

• Due to our client's insurance, applicants must be aged 21 or over and must have held a UK LGV1 licence for a minimum 2 years.
• CPC & DIGI Card

Desirable Experience

• Previous night trunking experience would be an advantage for this LGV1 driver vacancy, however our client is willing to accept drivers who have a minimum 2 years experience in any LGV1 driving role

What training is provided?

• Before being considered as a LGV1 driver, you must complete an onsite assessment and then under go a one day induction that is paid
