Description

Reporting to the Sales Director, the Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that Lease4lLess remain complaint and adhere to the guidance of the various regulators.


Accountabilities

  • Ensure that all company policies are compliant and kept up to date
  • Ensure that all templated documentation meets BVRLA, FCA and Data regulations
  • Oversee complaint handling and investigation
  • Oversee directly any complaints that are referred to external organisations such as the Financial Ombudsman
  • Manage annual compliance audits and returns conducted and required by external organisations such as funders, the BVRLA and the FCA
  • Conduct monthly spot checks to ensure ongoing staff compliance
  • Conduct monthly compliance checks and file audits on the sales team
  • Manage and update the internal compliance monitoring records and amend the checks required as new legislation is issued
  • Ensure that any regulatory changes are actioned and implemented
  • Complete FCA reporting on the Gabriel system
  • Oversee any data breaches and report these to the ICO
  • Work closely with the management of all departments concerning any regulatory changes
The Compliance Manager will also be required to assist on the following company procedures, so a good knowledge of other regulatory bodies is an advantage:

  • Health & Safety, ensuring that policies are maintained and kept up to date by liaising with the companies appointed external Health & Safety representatives
  • Managing and delegating as required, in order to maintain any property maintenance issues, in particular with regard to ensuring the wellbeing of employees.
  • Human Resources, assisting and ensuring that policies and procedures are designed, implemented and kept up to date, and assisting in the recruitment and training processes required
  • Arranging and chairing various interdepartmental meetings as required, in order to successfully achieve the overall compliance and smooth operating of the company

Requirements:

Minimum 2 Years Experience working as a compliance officer in Consumer Credit

A knowledge of Consumer Credit within the Motor Trade an advantage

Salary 30-35K per annum
