Geomatics Surveyor - United Kingdom - The Survey Association
Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Land Surveyor to join our dynamic team.The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in land surveying techniques, technologies, and methodologies, along with a passion for delivering excellence in every aspect of their work.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a talented team of professionals and contribute to the success of challenging and rewarding projects throughout the UK.
Responsibilities:
Conducting field surveys using a variety of surveying equipment, including total stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, and laser scanners.
Performing boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction staking surveys with precision and accuracy.
Analysing survey data and preparing detailed reports, maps, and drawings using CAD software and other relevant tools.
Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met within established timelines and budget constraints.
Adhering to health and safety regulations and best practices while working in the field and on-site.Requirements:
Proven experience in land surveying, including fieldwork and data analysis, preferably in the UK.
Proficiency in surveying software such as LSS, N4CE, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Trimble Business Centre.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
