An established and thriving Town Planning firm based in Bristol is seeking a dynamic and motivated Town Planner to join their team.

As an Town Planner, your primary responsibilities will include:


  • Leading and overseeing complex urban/town planning projects from inception to completion.
  • Providing expert guidance on town planning policies and regulations, with a focus on achieving clients' objectives.
  • Collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities to navigate and secure complex planning permissions.
  • Conducting comprehensive site assessments, feasibility studies, and risk analyses.
  • Preparing and delivering highlevel town planning reports and proposals.
  • Driving continuous improvement in town planning strategies and processes to ensure excellence.
  • Extensive and proven experience in town planning and development, ideally at a senior level.
  • A deep understanding of UK town planning policies, regulations, and local planning authorities.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Exceptional project management abilities, including the successful delivery of largescale town planning projects.
  • A proactive and innovative approach to resolving complex town planning challenges.
  • Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) is highly desirable.
