    Title: Apprenticeship Industry Trainer (Music and Live Events)

    Salary Scale: £28,000 - £34,000

    Overall Role

    As an Apprenticeship Industry Trainer you will be the front face of delivering our rich, industry relevant educational delivery to our apprenticeship learners nationwide. Predominantly through online delivery, with a mix of masterclasses and in-person workshops, you will help design, deliver and continuously improve our curriculum as we strive for Ofsted outstanding. You will have a strong emphasis on quality, being responsible for the attendance, progress and achievement of learners within your caseload. You will adhere to and track quality metrics, putting into place effective intervention where needed to safeguard the progress and engagement of your learners, as they head into their endpoint assessment period.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • To champion an outstanding apprenticeship quality curriculum
    • To champion an outstanding service to employers and learners
    • To own the delivery, learning and assessment of apprenticeship curriculum
    • To work closely with industry coaches to support apprentice learning plans
    • To engage with all organisational CPD and quality training
    • To own withdrawal rate of apprentices and monitor/intervene where risks to meeting targets present
    • To be a part of and contribute to a high performing and efficient apprenticeship delivery team
    • Maintain quality standards at all times in line with company policy and external benchmarks such as Ofsted, Matrix and DfE
    • Manage off job hours to ensure all learners receive their full entitlement under the apprenticeship agreement
    • Effectively manage and ownership of apprentice training plans to ensure learners enter end point assessment timely.
    • Coordinate technical training delivery in line with the apprentices training plan to ensure continued progression
    • Work closely with the HoBI to support quality processes and deep-dives
    • Work closely with the Maths and English team to ensure outstanding apprenticeship M&E delivery
    • Work closely with the ALS team to support an outstanding learner support culture
    • Reporting of key quality and operational metrics to the Head of Business Improvement
    • Stakeholder engagement (learner, employer, parent)
    • Working with apprenticeships customer service and operations team to support apprentice onboarding
    • Ensure effective learner tracking and progress monitoring by the delivery team through the VLE system
    • Identifying and engaging with external activities to raise organisational profile
    • Supporting Head of Business Improvement with external facing opportunities
    • Effectively represent the interests of the college with stakeholders, major clients and the community in all matters relevant to the duties of the role.
    • Understanding and utilisation of all relevant internal systems and processes.
    • Understand and be committed to the organisation's Health and Safety Policy statement and its safety priorities and be aware of his/her contribution to such priorities.
    • Actively promote equality and diversity in the workplace and through the curriculum, in line with College Policies and procedures, setting the tone for professional standards of behaviour between colleagues and learners.
    • Be familiar with Safeguarding Children and Young People requirements as outlined in the Safeguarding and Prevent policies and comply with its requirements to safeguard and protect the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
    • Undertake such additional duties or projects as the Director of Business Development may determine suitable within the role.
