- Schedule social media posts and implement paid organic social activity.
- Keep up to date on all major sporting events, and monitor social media trending topics, to ensure that social media communications are engaging and topical.
- Interact with our followers.
- Work closely with the retail and digital customer service teams to ensure all social media enquiries are dealt with in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Work closely with the PR team to ensure that the social media conversations and activities are fully aligned with the PR teams' activities, through a day-to-day communication process that supports this.
- Support with the development of ideas for social media content, in line with the brand marketing strategy and personality, and support in the creation of content.
- Social media experience is essential.
- Strong football knowledge – whether you are working in sports/football already, or are an avid football follower, we want to know.
- Strong working and/or personal knowledge and experience of social media channels (X, Facebook, Instagram and You Tube) - this could be in a professional or personal capacity. Whether you are currently working in a social media role or perhaps you have your set up your own football fan account and have grown a following organically. Whatever it is, we want to see this on your CV
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills - must be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Happy to work weekends/evenings - we're in the sports business so you'll need to be willing and able to work evenings and weekends on a shift pattern.

What do you need to be successful in this role?
