Description

QA Engineer / Quality Assurance Specialist with automation testing experience required by London based leading Publisher. This will be to develop & execute exploratory and automated tests before new features or products are released.

Salary:
To £70,000 plus benefits

Location:
Hybrid - 4 days a week at home, 1 day a week in central London

Working as the sole QA resource, the job will sit between engineering and product team, supporting working processes and lead to better, faster and high quality delivery of products and services.

The job will include setting up and owning the QA strategy and processes, being able to recommend and implement the appropriate tools and practices according to their needs.

Skills and experience required

Proven experience in software quality assurance with strong knowledge of software QA tools and processes.
Designing and implementing testing plans and test cases.
Experience with automated testing tools and handson related test related scripting a must (Selenium or equivalent tool) as you will design, develop and execute automation scripts.
Excellent attention to detail and able to work in small team.
Knowledge of the following beneficial: Understanding of DevOps pipeline, performance testing, security testing.
Strong interpersonal skills essential.
Background or interest in publishing, literature, history, culture, politics, philosophy or similar ideal.
