Scheme Coordinator - Sheltered Housing

35 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Part-time option considered)

Salary circa £29k dependant on experience.

Glebe Housing Association provides high quality housing and support for older people in West Wickham enabling them to continue living independently within their community.

This role is based within a small team in Bencurtis Park, West Wickham, BR4 9QD. Our sheltered housing is all based within the same park. We are on the Kent/Bromley/Croydon borders with fast transport links to Central London.

We are looking for an experienced sheltered housing professional to join our team.

This is a key role within our organisation with responsibility for ensuring the promotion of independent living and a high quality support service to our residents.

Prior experience working within a sheltered housing scheme for older people, or similar, is essential for this role as is the ability to effectively communicate with older people, an understanding of health and safety, safeguarding and preferably a good knowledge of welfare benefits.

You will also have experience of managing and supervising a small team of wardens and planning the rota and cover.

You will be energetic and collaborative and want to work with your colleagues and stakeholders to find ever better ways of delivering great customer service.

You will have a clear attention to detail and have the ability to problem solve and work under pressure, dealing with competing priorities and delivering results to tight deadlines.
