Pertemps are collaborating with a large global organization currently in need of a Finance Analyst to join their team in Ayrshire. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys an analytical role, working closely with internal stakeholders, and focusing on reporting requirements related to working capital, supply chain costs, and forecasts. Ideally, candidates should have previous experience in a similar role and strong system skills.

Salary offered by the client is around £41k along with an attractive benefits package.

JOB PURPOSE:

• Coordinate and evaluate working capital reporting packs essential for internal and group reporting.
• Support and manage financial modeling framework for quarterly business forecasting.
• Assist in analyzing inputs from functions for supply chain, material, and general supplies.
• Conduct monthly reviews with supply chain management personnel to evaluate performance against plans and forecasts, ensuring accountability.
• Review and address cost variations reports and Purchase Price Variances.
• Serve as finance focal for Supplier Claims, tracking claim statuses and progress.
• Prepare detailed financial performance reports for European and US Corporate audiences.
• Handle large data volumes effectively using strong IT skills for consolidation and reporting.
• Liaise with external parties (Auditors, Customers, Suppliers) when needed.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Degree holder with relevant experience.

Accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or in progress.

Strong communication and relationship management skills.

Proficient in IT, especially Excel & TM1.

Utilize knowledge and experience to drive process improvements.
