As a Manufacturing Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to support efficient production processes within our factory. Ensuring work meets our internal quality and health & safety standards will be a key focus.A solid understanding of manufacturing processes, including major subcomponent production and final assembly of machines.
# Problem-Solving Skills:
Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to identify and implement effective containment and root cause fixes for manufacturing issues.
# Implement best practices on the shop floor to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.# Contribute to new product launches, conduct design-for-manufacture reviews, and establish efficient processes.
# Develop and review lean manufacturing practices as needed for your assigned site.
# Support the integration of engineering change orders (ECO) and engineering change notices (ECN) into our business processes.
# Coordinate and lead time studies and production layouts in collaboration with production teams.
You will receive a highly competitive salary of £35,000 to £40,000 depending on experience, the ability to work flexible working hours alongside an early Friday finish, there is a bonus opportunity, enhanced pension contributions, access to private healthcare alongside 32 days annual leave.
