An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pathology Stores Supervisor to join our Team based at Royal Stoke University Hospital, UHNM and supporting all sites across the North Midlands and Cheshire Pathology Service (NMCPS).

The post will be based in the Pathology Department at Royal Stoke University Hospital.

The post holder will;

  • Perform a range of routine and nonroutine tasks within Pathology.
  • Maintain and develop the Stock Control System.
  • Be an efficient and flexible member of the Pathology Stores Team assisting in the delivery of the Pathology Service, including maintaining the Top Up Service to the Laboratories, Offices and other users within Pathology.
  • Manage stock inventory to rationalise and consolidate joint supplies where possible.
  • The Post also involves booking Transport of Samples and Goods via Couriers, Trust Transport, Blood Bikes and Taxis via Trust Estates to various external locations.
