    Senior Frontend JavaScript Developer

    Oxford - Once a month in the office

    £60,000-£70,000

    I'm currently working for a global business who are well established within the online gaming/gambling industry and looking to add a Senior JavaScript Developer to their growing team. The company have been going for over 20 years and work with a variety of businesses from small, local gaming companies to some of the world's largest online casinos

    Given the size of some of their clients and their respective global customer bases, this company have off-shore teams in Canada, South Africa and China although there would be minimal interaction with these teams. For the most part, you will be working on modern web applications across a variety of platforms focusing on the backend. You don't need to have previous industry experience but being collaborative and confident working on multiple projects is important. The role is at Senior level so there will be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities at lead level.

    The main requirements of the role is to have excellent experience on well-structured frontend architecture.     This company are based in Oxford and require office working of once a month.

    Technical Requirements

    • Minimum 3-5 years' experience within Software Development.
    • Good JavaScript experience across web, desktop and mobile environments.
    • Experience working with HTML, CSS, Typescript, SASS.
    • Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest & Mocha.
    • Understanding of Source Control platforms such as GIT/SVN.
    • Confident conducting code reviews and mentoring when required.
    • Good collaborative and communications skills.

    Salary/Benefits

    • £60,000-£70,000
    • UK based candidates – no sponsorship can be offered.
    • 20% of 1months salary paid out each quarter.
    • 22 days holiday.
