    We have a new opportunity to be part of the Performance Development team in the role of Vehicle Dynamics Engineer.

    The role has broad responsibilities in the following areas:

    • Simulation studies for current and future car development
    • Performance analysis
    • Model correlation
    • Mechanical rig testing (R&D, K&C, 7-Post)
    • Conducting Driver In the Loop Simulator (DILSim) test programs
    • Liaison with other technical departments

    The following skills & experience are required:

    • Experience within in the automotive/motorsport sector
    • A proactive approach to problem solving
    • An understanding of mechanical systems
    • An understanding of data analysis techniques
    • An awareness of ground vehicle aerodynamic principles
    • Matlab and/or Python coding experience
    • Good communication skills, being able to describe problems in simple terms

    Experience in the following is preferred but not essential:

    • Motorsport trackside experience
    • Data analysis software
    • Mechanical modelling in Simulink / Dymola
    • Hands-on experience of mechanical/automotive systems

    The ideal candidate will possess an excellent degree in an Engineering related discipline and exhibit strong problem solving skills.

    The ability to work effectively whether as part of a cross-functional team or with minimal supervision is a prerequisite.
