Science Teacher

We are currently recruiting for a Science teacher from January until May 2023


If you have a passion for science and a gift for inspiring the next generation of scientists and engineers, we are looking for you.

We are currently recruiting for a science teacher to join this outstanding faculty of teachers in this good academy in Manchester


You must have a solid understanding of the national curriculum standards - KS3 & KS4 and have experience closing the achievement gap, and you must also develop engaging and innovative lessons that allow our students to grow academically, socially and emotionally.

Do you have a skill teaching students who need support in all three sciences and want to help them achieve.

These students want to be able to go onto higher education once they complete their studies.


Responsibilities:


  • Create daily lesson plans and learning activities for students.
  • Deliver highquality, engaging instruction in the form of discussion, direct teaching, demonstrations and independent practice using a variety of proven methods.
  • Evaluate student performance on tasks established by the standards using different methods such as observation, performancebased tasks or other standard test practices.
  • Maintain a safe, orderly and supportive classroom by modelling expected behaviour and standards, promoting positive interactions and quickly addressing behaviours that are not in line with the school policies.

Job Skills & Qualifications required:


  • Bachelor's degree in Science education or another related field
  • QTS/QTLS and experience teaching UK curriculum KS3 and
  • Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing as well as proven classroom management strategies.
