RM Recruit are working with a Public Sector body to recruit an Interim Management Accountant for a wide-ranging contract post.

As well as general day to day finance duties, this role will see you develop the reporting output from Oracle systems to assistin the development of a new suite of Finance Business Partnering services across the organisation.

Your remit will include, but not be limited to:

Management Accounting and developing budget holder relationships
Development of business partnering services to a range of operational and executive level stakeholders.
Month End preparation and closedown
Budget setting up for the new Financial Year
Yearend accruals
Development of finance training for the business
Financial Reporting development for monthend processes, data analysis and budget holder reports
Allocation of new funding and supporting budget managers to mobilise

Other duties may incorporate work around capital accounting, financial control activities and government data returns. This role will have a duration of 6 months and will be predominantly home based. Some travel to the Birmingham office will be requiredbut the organisations prides themselves on offering excellent work-life balance.

This role will suit an experienced interim professional who has experience of working in a range of public sector environments.
