    Public Procurement Solicitor - Manchester / hybrid


    BCL is working with a market leading public sector team, looking to recruit experienced solicitors as part of its continued growth.

    The roles will be based in the team in Manchester but also offer hybrid working.

    The Team
    National public sector practice ranked as top tier in the legal directories
    A market leading team of advisers on public procurement issues
    Acting for a wide range of clients, including many contracting authorities and key suppliers to the public sector

    The Role
    Working as part of a national and very collaborative team
    Acting on behalf of a wide range of clients to include contracting authorities and key suppliers to the public sector
    Assisting public sector clients with the design of effective and compliant tender procedures and and advising on robust defence strategies
    Acting for suppliers on contentious and non contentious matters
    Handling a broad scope of work that will involve advising on procurement law and practice; State Aid; Corporate and commercial law; Regeneration projects; and Governance

    Requirements
    E&W Qualified Solicitor
    Minimum of 4+ PQE
    Associate / Senior Associate / Director level in a similar team
    Public Procurement experience gained either within an in house or private practice team
