Our client is a large financial services company with modern offices in London and Surrey and they are looking to recruit a Financial Reporting Manager to join their high-profile team.

This role is a hybrid position, with 3 days in the Surrey office and2 working from home.

Reporting directly into the Finance Director, we require an individual with both the technical experience and knowledge but also the management skills to lead a regulatory reporting team.

The role of Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for the following:

Leadership of a team of 5 who are responsible for the regulatory reporting across the various business units
Responsible for ensuring all regulatory reporting policies and rules ate followed and offering guidance where required
Ensuring robust detailed procedures for regulatory reporting are in place and are fully documented
Responsible for regulatory reporting returns, ensuring the business is kept fully up to date with regulatory rule changes
Responsible for the review of annual Pillar 3 disclosures
Responsible for the constant testing of all financial systems related to the regulatory reporting, making improvement recommendations where necessary

To be considered for this role you should be:

ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified
Able to demonstrate extensive experience of working within the financial services industry
Experienced as a Business Partner, able to deal with senior business figures with the required gravitas
Knowledgeable in regulatory reporting especially around COREP
Highly experienced in the use of Excel
