Morgan McLernon -We specialise in ambient, chilled, and frozen distribution throughout the UK and Ireland. Providing first class chilled and frozen transportation services to major retailers. With our wealth of knowledge and experience in the transport, distribution and shipping sector. We have been transporting perishable foodstuffs such as fruit, vegetables, and meat for over 40 years.

Craigavon site are now recruiting for a Credit Controller on a full time
basis.


Salary**:
£24,500 - £26,000 Per annum


Working hours:
Monday - Fridays 9:00 - 17:00


Job Description:


The purpose of a Credit Controller is to support the Credit Control/Accounts Receivable Manager in ensuring an efficient debt management process.


Key Duties of a Credit Controller:

  • Oversee all Sales Ledger debtors
  • Ensuring payment terms are strictly adhered too
  • Respond to customer queries; escalate to the financial controller if necessary
  • Delegate junior activities within the department
  • Prepare Report for weekly debtors meeting
  • Allocating & reconciling receipts;
  • Create weekly unbilled reports and KPI's
  • Produce monthly projected cashflow collection
  • Ensure month end deadlines are adhered too
  • Other ad hoc duties to assist the Accounts Department

Qualifications:


  • Previous sales ledger experience important
  • Very high levels of organisation, precision and attention to detail
  • Efficient and able to meet deadlines
  • Selfmotivated independent worker
  • Good communicator, both within the team and with customers
  • Previous experience of Sage
  • Confident in using Excel
