    Job summary

    Senior Finance Analyst

    The opportunity has arisen for a senior finance analyst to join our team.

    We are looking for an individual who is looking to progress their career and enhance their management accounting skills and experience in an acute NHS role will be based at Heatherwood Hospital and there will be a requirement for some cross site working across our other hospitals at Frimley and Wexham Park. There is also the opportunity to work from home.

    Main duties of the job

    PURPOSE OF JOB:

    The Senior Finance Analyst has responsibility for ensuring the accurate and timely production of the monthly management accounts for division(s) and ensuring these are discussed and agreed with senior members of the Trust's Management Team. The position also has the responsibility for supporting the Business Support Accountant with any internal or external returns.

    The post holder will be guided by policies but will be expected to work without reference to the Business Support Accountant on a routine basis.

    This role will be supporting the Business Support Accountant overseeing the Radiology & Private Patients directorates to ensure robust and accurate financial management and reporting are completed at all times.

  • Part qualified CCAB/CIMA
  • Relevant Diploma level
  • Desirable

  • Recent CCAB/CIMA exam success and development plan to become a fully qualified accountant.
  • Experience/Knowledge

  • Relevant finance experience - achieved a large proportion of CCAB's competences
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
  • Desirable

  • 3 or more years NHS Finance Experience
  • Knowledge of Systems
  • Quality of application
