    The role - Behaviour Mentor - Bromley


    The role of a Behaviour Mentor is one of the most rewarding roles in education, as you will have the opportunity to work closely with students who have challenging behaviours.

    As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with the class teacher and other members of the behaviour team to provide material to the students and to run and support interventions based on the specific needs of the individual student.

    It is the role of behaviour mentors to motivate and support students who need academic support in order to succeed academically.

    The most important thing is to have an understanding of the factors that may contribute to a student's behaviour, so that you can form relationships with them that will help support them and help them to affect their behaviour.

    In this role, you will be working in the classroom and in small groups to provide support to students in all subject areas, especially in core subjects such as Maths, Science and English.

    Therefore, in order to be successful in these three subjects, it is necessary for you to have a good grasp on them.
