    Join a Leading Financial Company as a DevOps Engineer - Hybrid Role in Yorkshire

    Company Overview:

    A renowned payments company is seeking a talented DevOps/Linux Engineer to join its team. With a focus on delivering excellence and achieving remarkable results, this company supports over 3 million businesses and collaborates with more than 1,300 financial institutions. Join this dynamic team and play a vital role in shaping the future of payments technology.

    After pouring investment into their DevOps space over the last 6-12 months, they are looking to grow the team with 2x Senior Engineers.

    Role Summary:

    You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing infrastructure solutions using cutting-edge methodologies.

    Leveraging your expertise in CI/CD, GitOps, and infrastructure-as-code, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's technology landscape.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design, implement, and test infrastructure solutions using CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code.
    • Continuously research and adopt enhancements from AWS.
    • Utilise Terraform to automate infrastructure resources across AWS.
    • Provide on-call support and act as a secondary technical escalation point.
    • Automate infrastructure delivery and enhance existing automation capabilities.
    • Review and refine requirements, conduct cross-team working sessions, and validate solutions.
    • Troubleshoot and remove blockers across multiple tools and services.
    • Ensure changes align with quality standards and follow change control processes.
    • Build relationships with peers and stakeholders to support team delivery and strategy alignment.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience in DevOps, infrastructure automation, and cloud technologies.
    • Strong proficiency in CI/CD, GitOps, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
    • Experience working in a Linux environment or confident on Linux servers
    • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

    Location:

    • Hybrid role based in Yorkshire, United Kingdom
    • 2x / 3x time during probation - after it will become flexible.

    Salary:

    • Up to 拢70,000 basic.
