Circa £30,000 per annum (+ 5% potential bonus)
Pontoon Solutions are currently in the market for a Technical Administrator on behalf of one of our high-profile utility companies. The purpose of the role is to
support the client's regional team in discharging their responsibility for delivery of work portfolio.
Key Accountabilities include:
- Build and update investments in OPPM and CRM.
- Manage the storage of data and documentation within designated repository(s) on behalf of the Connections Engineers / EPC Project Manager / Associate EPC Project Manager (including minutes, drawings, records, and closures) during project development, delivery, and closure (in line with document retention schedules)
- Support the investment process, to include; storage of data (as above), tracking and chasing defined documents from contractors and through any related Ops approvals.
- Produce, collate, and coordinate project and team performance data from Team Hubs and Project Reviews / Audits for Connection Managers and Senior Project Managers and roll up to Leadership Hub (as applicable)
- Support Connections Engineers / EPC Project Managers / Associate EPC Project Managers with outage bookings administration
- Perform technical secretary role for allocated forums/meetings in the region including action monitoring and follow up to achieve satisfactory completion
- Manage and track progress of documents for closure monitor performance of all gates and handovers for designated portfolio assigned.
- Establish and manage a drawing package tracker across projects for designated portfolio to monitor throughput from designer to TA and onward to site
- Coordinate input into lessons learnt repository for designated portfolio assigned for the collation of potential improvements identified through the development, delivery, and closure of projects. Undertake periodic reviews with key stakeholders, identify appropriate action owners within the business to embed improvements and generate communications to disseminate across Customer Connections (as appropriate)
Experience Required:
Interpersonal, Supervisory or Management
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
Technical or Specialist
- Knowledge of the Electricity Transmission System (Beneficial)
- Proficient experience in coordination of Business Systems within a commercial project management arena
- Proficient experience in document management, including administration of online Collaborative Project Management systems (Livelink, SharePoint, etc. (or similar))
- The ability to use desktop software packages to coordinate and present management information in numerical, graphical, and written formats. Also, able to use packages to generate reports and interrogate data (e.g., Pivot tables)
