- Risk Management: Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
- Resource Allocation: Optimise resource allocation to maximise efficiency and profitability, assessing investment opportunities and cost-saving initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and excellence.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate cross-functionally, communicating financial insights to various stakeholders, supporting decision-making processes.
- Compliance and Audit: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, oversee audit processes, and implement necessary controls to maintain integrity in financial operations.
- Fully qualified accountant.
- Experience: Significant years of experience in finance. Prior experience in the energy or technology/commercial sector desirable.
- Financial Acumen: Demonstrated ability to develop financial strategies, strong knowledge of financial analysis, and a track record of successful budget management.
- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and team management abilities, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.
- Adaptability: Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, adept at handling ambiguity and driving results.
