The purpose of this role is to ensure that training is dynamic, compliance pan-Trust is at target and ultimately, that all staff are fluent and competent in the implementation of the MCA, Domestic Abuse and all Safeguarding legislation.
You will have a Quality Improvement mindset and be able to audit/reflect and adjust in response to identified themes. You will work closely with the wider Safeguarding team, Practice Educators, Medical Education team and our clinical teams.
As a senior member of the safeguarding team, you will be expected to provide leadership and role modelling to team members, report regularly and participate in audit and work plan / work plan reviews.
Interviews are scheduled to take place on 18th December 2023 at St. George's. Interviews are only available face to face.
This role will lead on Safeguarding training and quality assurance across the Trust, supporting the Safeguarding team in planning, coordinating and evaluation of education and training across staff groups.
This will include project managing delivery of high quality training in all aspects of safeguarding - Adults, Children, Domestic Abuse, Mental Capacity Act.
A rolling program of audit, quality improvement projects and oversight of the national safeguarding landscape to create brief teaching.
