We are seeking an Machine Operative to join our busy client in the plastic industry.

You will be responsible for operating and maintaining busy extrusion machines.

This role will require working both days and nights.

• Week 1 : Monday and Tuesday 07:00 a.m. to 19:00 p.m. and Thursday and Friday 19:00 p.m. to 07:00 a.m.
• Week 2: Wednesday to Friday 07:00 a.m. to 19:00 p.m.
• Week 3: Monday to Wednesday 19:00 p.m. to 07:00 a.m.

or

• Week 1: Monday to Friday 06:00 to 14:00
• Week 2: Monday to Friday 14:00 to 22:00
• Week 3: Monday to Friday 22:00 to 06:00

You will have a minimum of 1-year experience in a machine operating role and be able to work well under pressure, possess excellent attention to detail and be willing to work as part of a team to achieve common goals.

Key responsibilities include

• Setting up and operating the machines
• Ensuring quality, and compliance with health and safety procedures.
• Carrying out routine maintenance and cleaning of the machines.
• The ideal candidate will have experience of working to production targets such as quality, output, and yield.

We offer an hourly rate of £11.44ph
