We are on the lookout for a superstar receptionist to be the friendly face of our beautiful equine veterinary clinic , located just outside of Cambridge.

This role mainly involves the scheduling of appointments across a large number of vets , answering the phone, processing payments, providing prescriptions over the counter and other various administrative tasks .

This is a permanent, full-time role (Monday-Friday 8am-5pm) .

Above average skills in common computer suites such as Microsoft word, excel, outlook, drop box etc. We are happy to train the right person in the use of our inhouse veterinary software .
Excellent c ustomer service skills in answering phones, email queries and walk-in customers.
Knowledge of the equine industry would be extremely adv a ntageous.
At least 2 years administration experience or receptionist experience.
Waikato Equine Veterinary Centre is a full-service equine clinic located in the heart of Waikato.

With our state-of-the-art facility and highly experienced team, we cater to all equine athletes and leisure horses with sixteen veterinarians, thirteen nurses, and nine office staff.
