Typical Duties andResponsibilitiesCreate a wellinformed cloudstrategy and maintain the adaptationprocess.
Evaluate cloud applications hardwareand software.
Identify the best cloudarchitecture solutions to meet the company s needs and businessrequirements.
Lead the adoption of new cloudtechnologies and establish best practices forthem.
Design cloud infrastructures running in24/7 environments.
Design and implement IaaSand PaaS solutions.
Develop enterprise cloudguidelines and automations.
Oversee allaspects of the GCP environment including provisioning scalingmonitoring and security.
Develop and organizecloud systems.
Implement systems solutionsand processes to manage cloud costs scalability redundancy andcontinuous validation.
Manage and monitorcloudbased applications andservices.
Collaborate with IT security tomonitor cloud privacy. Collaborate witharchitecture DevOps data and integration teams to ensure bestpractices are followed throughout cloudadoption.

EducationBachelors degree in computer science information technology or a relatedfieldRequired Skills andExperience15 years of experience in cloudarchitecture or systemsengineeringExperience with identitymanagement and networking segmentation across multiple VPC networksand projectsExperience leading largescalenetwork migrations to GCP.Experienceestablishing technical strategy and architecture at the enterpriselevel.

Experience with one or more thirdpartynetworking productsExperience leading GCPCloud project deliveryExperience workingwith infrastructure as code tools such as Ansible Chef orTerraformExpertise in GCPservicesKnowledge of security identity andaccess managementKnowledge of networkingprotocols such as TCP/IP and HTTP/SKnowledgeof network security design including segmentation encryptionlogging and monitoringKnowledge of networktopologies load balancing andsegmentationKnowledge of programminglanguages including Python Ruby andJavaScriptStrong communication presentationand leadership skills PreferredQualificationsGoogle Cloud CertifiedProfessional Cloud Architect certification
