Our client, an international manufacturer supplying to the wine & spirits, beverage and consumable oils industries, is recruiting a qualified and experienced Injection Moulding Technician (Setter) for its production facility in Kirkintilloch.

In the not too distant future, the role will relocate the company's new, multimillion pound flagship facility in Gartcosh.

This role, working for a business with one of the brightest futures in Scottish manufacturing, will involve:
Ensuring that work carried out and machines confirm to SHE proceduresCarrying out tool changesEnsuring that cavitation on moulds is at maximum achievable levels Supporting OEE targetsKey Skills & Experience:IMT level 2 or equivalentApprenticeship-trained or industry relevant training2 years minimum experience working with plastic injection moulding
Work Patterns: 4 on 4 off Continental Shift. Rotating dayshift/nightshift basis - (7am to 7pm days, 7pm – 7am nights).


Salary & Package:

Full-time, PermanentSalary: Up to £38,817.00 per year & Annual 2024 increase pendingAdditionally, a supplementary £2k salary uplift shall be applied subject to successful completion of Basic Electrical Skills (Multiskilling) Training Course.

Applicants who are already multi-skilled the aforementioned salary uplift will be inclusive as part of COE/offer.
