We are delighted to be working with an industry leading business based in Newmarket as they seek to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join their team.

This role has become available due to increased workload in the team, and is available on either a temporaryor permanent basis.

The role would be office based initially, with a view to moving to hybrid working after an initial settling in period.

As the incoming Assistant Accountant, you will be tasked with the following set of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Maintaining cashbooks
  • Daily Bank reconciliations
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Resolving any payment issues
  • Additional ad hoc duties as required by your line manager

As the incoming individual, you will possess previous experience working in an Accountancy role and have good knowledge of transactional processing.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must in being successful in this position.
