PA to CEO - Financial Services - City of London - £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

Our client is a successful Financial Services business in the City of London, who are seeking a EA to support the CEO on a permanent basis.

Ideally you will come from a similar industry and have strong knowledge of how the Financial Services industry operates.


Day to day duties:

Provide a wide ranging general support service to the CEO and Senior Management team.

  • Deal with high profile clients and other business contacts.
  • Proactively and sensibly manage diaries, extensive travel arrangements and itineraries.
  • Anticipate CEO workloads and prioritise in order to take ownership of internal and external queries and proactively respond.
  • Organise internal and external meetings and events, and all related logistics.
  • Minutetaking at Management meetings.
  • Draft and issue letters and other documents on behalf of the CEO.
  • Responsible for the endtoend organisation for meetings/conferences including monthly Executive Governance meetings.
  • Act as first point of contact for visitors, meetings and telephone calls.
  • Prepare necessary documentation/papers for business visits.
  • Prepare and amend PowerPoint presentations.
  • Manage invoices and expenses for CEO and other SMT
  • Manage incoming / outgoing post to CEO's office.
  • Provide secretarial cover for other Senior Management secretaries as required in their absence.
  • Management of adhoc reports and special projects.
  • Organise and maintain electronic and paper based filing systems.
  • File correspondence and other documents and records.
  • Order and maintain supplies, and arranges for equipment maintenance.
  • Involvement in event planning and coordination on the Sports & Social Committee on a quarterly basis.
  • Undertake additional duties as reasonably required

Qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience required:

  • Exposure in the financial services/banking industry supporting at Senior Management level.
  • Educated to A level or equivalent standard.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
  • Accurate typing skills including Audio (minimum speed 55 wpm).
