    Holtec has received funding from the FNEF to advance its SMR programme, and is building its brand new team based in Bristol.


    The first assignment is Lead PM for the Holtec SMR Generic Design Assessment (GDA) project, with subsequent assignments on similar projects following completion of the GDA.

    This position will manage the overall relationship with the UK Regulators and the UK Department of Energy Security. The position will require regular travel to client offices and regulator offices within the UK. The ideal candidate will be well-rounded in technical and commercial aspects and capable of operating independently.

    In addition to developing and maintaining relationships with clients, the position includes administrative responsibilities such as pricing preparation, and regulatory compliance oversight.

    Project planning and execution within budget, on-schedule, and to the regulators and DESNZ satisfaction.
    Responsible for overall project execution, schedule, budget development and maintenance, payment milestones, monitoring earned value.
    Performing Contract and Change Order Management in accordance with Holtec's standard processes.
    Approval of design changes, specifications, engineering analyses, and drawings.
    Identify qualified subcontractors; Management of subcontractors, scope and spend, ensure effective communications to build a stronger working relationship.
    Project briefing and reporting to all stakeholders, including the CEO and CFO.
    Mentorship and guidance of junior team members.
    Support review of contracts with Holtec's legal team and add value with regards to risk identification and mitigation strategies. Bachelor's degree.
    >10 years' experience, with relevant project management, project controls, or project engineering experience.
    Minimum of 5 years' experience in the energy industry, preferably in the nuclear industry.
    Strong time management and organizational skills.
    Bachelor's degree in engineering or scientific field
    Familiarity or experience within the nuclear industry including industry expectations for change management processes.
