Princes Bradford is looking for a Focus Improvement Lead (CI) to join their drinks site. Our site is a leading producer of carbonated, dilute to taste and ready to drink soft drinks, offering a large variety of flavours and pack formats. This is an opportunity to work for one of the UK's leading FMCG businesses.

    As a FI Lead you will be responsible for serving as a change agent and driver for the development and implementation of process improvement ideas throughout the site, by supporting the site teams in delivering site targets through continuous improvement, ensuring optimum process control to deliver improvements in efficiencies, effectiveness, and profitability.

    Job Responsibilities
  • Undertake duties responsibly, considering safety, environmental and quality procedures, to enhance behavioural awareness and reduce accidents.
  • Coordinate the Production line improvement program.
  • Challenge the status quo, supporting the Operational Excellence Manager in creating a culture of best practice and continuous improvement.
  • Support and lead teams to implement sustained improvements to reduce factory costs, in conjunction with the site plan.
  • Maximize people involvement and engagement in change projects to develop a change accepting culture across the site.
  • Coach and train employees to apply Continuous Improvement (CI) concepts and tools.
  • Monitor Production Processes and Production Line efficiencies to identify top losses and drive corrective plans.
  • Review performance, identifying and implementing opportunities to improve KPIs.
  • Promote high levels of motivation and engagement through effective leadership.
  • Support a culture of ownership within the site team for the on-going development of the facilities.
  • Conduct in line with site values and behaviours.
  • Responsible for the roll out of the Operational excellence MWBP ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Support all site teams in performing a gap analysis across site processes, performance and Operational Plans.
  • Lead all site teams in the development of appropriate skills to enable a culture of continuous sustained improvement.
  • Work closely with all site teams in achieving variation reduction through continuous improvement of the site process controls.
  • Carry out any other tasks as may be reasonably requested by the line manager.
  • Flexibility is required by the business and will be agreed with the individuals line manager. Role Requirements Knowledge
  • Lean Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement experience
  • In-depth practical experience in Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma, 5S, Standardised Work, Problem Solving, VSM, TPM, SMED, Kaizen, and OEE with proven results.
  • Strong operational experience in a complex, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with the principles of World Class Manufacturing environments and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Proven track record of delivering results against project timelines, financial targets, service levels, and safety standards.
  • Good understanding of established manufacturing processes and emerging technologies and techniques.
  • Good working knowledge of operating systems such as SAP, Microsoft Office.
