Night Operations Manager - Student Accommodation

Salary - £31,000 + bonus

42 hours per week. 5 days out 7 between 8pm to 8am

My client is a leading provider of purpose-built student accommodation across the UK. Their modern and comfortable properties offer a range of amenities and support services to ensure that our residents have an exceptional living experience during their time at university.

They are looking for a reliable and responsible individual to join their team as a Night Operations Manager for our student accommodation facility. As a Night Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of our residents during night time hours. This position requires exceptional communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to handle various situations calmly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the premises throughout the night to ensure a safe and secure environment for residents.
• Respond promptly to any emergencies or incidents that may arise during the night shift.
• Enforce residence policies and regulations to maintain a peaceful and respectful living environment.
• Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter any unauthorized individuals or activities.
• Assist residents with any concerns or issues they may have during the night.
• Complete thorough documentation of any incidents, disturbances, or maintenance issues.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless operations and communication between shifts.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a security or customer service-related role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Knowledge of basic computer applications and ability to use security monitoring systems is a plus.
