JOB ROLE/PURPOSE:

To provide a high quality domestic service to MMP Sites, maintaining a clean and safe environment that assists in ensuring a positive patient experience and reflects the values of the organisation

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for the effective cleaning and maintenance of all hygiene standards within the designated sites
Awareness of infection control procedures and carry out relevant training
Good interpersonal skills
Work independently or part of a team
Cross cover sites when staff are on annual leave/sick
Communicate to the Domestic Supervisor any areas of concern or low in supplies
To be responsible for the collection and safe removal of paper and general waste within your areas of work
Fully trained and conversant with Fire regulations and health & safety and what to do in an emergency
To comply with the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 197
Work within the Clinical Governance Framework, incorporating Risk Management and all the other quality initiatives and all aspects of CQC implementation
To provide kitchen duties including clearing of the dining area and washing up as required
Responsible for the safe storage and maintenance of appropriate stock and supplies and to ensure that these are available at sites
Responsible for ensuring all relevant training is up to date
Responsible for engaging in the organisations appraisal process, identifying own personal development and training needs
To assist in the introduction of new staff under the guidance and advice of the Domestic Supervisor
To undertake any adhoc duties as required by the organisation
Knowledge of COSHH and Health & Safety

Location:
Across all MMP Sites

10 hours per week - permanent, part time (Monday to Friday)

12.5 hours per week - permanent, part time (Monday to Friday)

3 x Bank Cleaners
