Senior Platform Engineer - London - Relation Therapeutics

At Relation Therapeutics we pioneer approaches in large-scale machine learning and high-resolution biology to discover new drugs for patients with diseases of high unmet need.

Our team combines single-cell profiling, biobank-scale genetics, experimental functional genomics, and end-to-end machine learning in order to decode and modulate the fundamental causes of ill health.

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will join the engineering team in a role pivotal to our mission to revolutionize target discovery and validation using advanced machine learning models.

You will work closely with the Machine Learning and Data Science teams on designing and scaling our hybrid compute cluster, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.

Design, deploy, and manage our Kubernetes-based hybrid compute cluster across on-premises and cloud environments (AWS, GCP). Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability to meet the demands of our machine learning and data science teams.
Implement and improve continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, facilitating efficient development, testing, and deployment processes.
Establish comprehensive monitoring solutions to proactively detect and resolve issues. Enforce best practices and security measures to protect sensitive data and comply with industry standards.
Work closely with Machine Learning and Data Science teams to understand their computational needs and challenges. A Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related quantitative field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in platform engineering, with a strong focus on Kubernetes and AWS. Solid Python coding experience, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
Desirable experience in data engineering and/or deploying machine learning workloads.
