The Supply Room is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our client schools in Southampton, Hampshire, supporting children aged years or years.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with previous experience working or volunteering in a school setting and a genuine desire to work in the education sector on a long-term basis.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in the classroom.

Your responsibilities may include providing one-on-one support, assisting with classroom activities, and helping to create an inclusive learning environment for students of all abilities.

This position is particularly suited for individuals with a background in support work, tutoring, sports coaching, psychology, or anyone with a passion for helping individuals with additional needs.

Working on a fixed-term contract with potential for permanent roles within local primary, secondary, or specialist schools in Southampton or Eastleigh, this role offers a competitive pay rate of £90 - £95 per day.

The working hours are Monday to Friday (8.30am - 3.30pm). It is a term time only role.
