    Are you a Quality professional looking to take the next step? We have the opportunity for you in our Quality team as an Internal Quality Engineer
    This is an exciting opportunity to work in a company that holds a prestigious, global brand.

    GESIPA UK based in Keighley, West Yorkshire is a manufacturing company producing a wide range of fasteners supplying different customers many of which are in the automotive sector.

    This is a very important and varied role where you will support the internal functions of the business to achieve a high standard of manufactured product.

    Working hours 37 per week (Monday - Friday). The role is office based with occasional travel.

    Your main tasks & responsibilities:

    • Develop a good understanding of the product and manufacturing techniques.
    • Support manufacturing procedures.
    • Internal Audit of processes and procedures.
    • Implement 5S and audit its success.
    • Inspection of received goods and final product inspection.
    • Maintain quality documentation.
    • Work closely with the rest of the quality and engineering team.
    • Develop standards for inspection techniques.
    • Involvement of continuous improvement activities.
    • Calibration and control of measuring equipment.
    • Liaison with suppliers in relation to process and quality.
    • Daily liaison with production regarding quality.
    • Any other duties deemed necessary to support the business function within the job holder's capacity.

    To succeed in this role, you will need:

    • Previous experience working as an internal auditor.
    • Have an understanding of IATF 16949 & ISO 9001 systems.
    • Hands on attitude.
    • Able to adapt to working in an office and alongside our production colleagues.
    • Knowledge of quality tools such as 8D, PPAP, FMEA etc.
    • Able to interpret engineering drawings.
    • Good problem solving skills.
    • Good communication skills, verbal and written.
    • Agile mindset and flexibility.
    • Excellent time keeping and organisational skills.
    • Good all round IT skills.
