    Description

    The Role

    We're looking for an experienced PA, with the highest levels of professionalism. You will have exceptional organisational abilities and be able to handle confidential information with discretion, with highly effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders across the business.

    £36,000 p/a pro-rata to 4 working days per week, Monday - Thursday (9:00 - 17:30)

    PA CEO Accountabilities and Deliverables:

  • PA support to the CEO including all diary management, travel (UK & overseas), internal and external meeting co-ordination, letter presentations, minute taking and office management duties
  • Point of contact for the business for the CEO. Filter and divert queries elsewhere where appropriate. Working proactively with internal and external stakeholders in the UK and overseas. Delegate actions on their behalf and to follow up as necessary to ensure key priorities are met.
  • Enhancing visual display for documents, proposals, presentations, etc, with a high level of proficieny in Powerpoint
  • Arrange monthly Board and Senior Management meetings including venues, catering and internal and external attendees and evening dinners
  • Co-ordinate and main point of contact for the CEO mentoring programmes in the UK and overseas including the sourcing, procurement and provision of support literature
  • Co-ordinate CEO meetings with staff and various annual events and initiatives
  • Co-ordinate and attend annual offsite senior manager conferences and deliver within agreed budgets
  • Collate CEO's expenses
  • Manage individual corporate credit card
  • Review and coordinate sign off of Board and finance documents in line with business delegated authorities
  • Establish a good working knowledge of the business, services and members of the team in order to support day to day tasks efficiently, with confidence and minimal supervision. Able to manage competing priorities to successful completion
  • Compliance and integrity: takes personal responsibility for and demonstrates a high level of understanding of and adherence to internal policies. Exhibits high business ethics standard in dealing with internal and external stakeholders, including dealing with others honestly and openly
  • Skills & Experience Required

    Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years PA experience to a CEO/Board Director - essential
  • Extensive senior PA experience within fast moving, multi-cultural, large organisation employees)
  • Experience within government/service sector preferred
  • Excellent organizational, co-ordination and communication skills
  • Responsibility for managing 6 figure hotel, car, travel budgets
  • A team player with a strong ability to work on their own initiative
  • Reliable, accurate and precise
  • A dynamic self-starter with a natural ability to work under pressure, within tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Adept at communicating effectively at all levels of the organisation, especially senior executive level contacts in a multi-cultural environment
  • Work to high ethical standards with discretion and integrity
  • Ability to accept responsibility and be pro-active within defined limits
  • Excellent knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages (Advanced Excel and PowerPoint), Outlook and Teams
  • Project management experience of coordinating events
  • This role will require travel within the UK
