You will be responsible for the design, of state-of-the-art fire suppression systems, with a primary focus on applications within the automotive sector.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the design and development of fire suppression systems tailored for automotive use, with a particular emphasis on systems destined for installation in engine bays.
    • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to understand industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to fire suppression systems.
    • Utilise CAD software and other engineering tools to create detailed designs, schematics, and prototypes.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, to ensure seamless integration of fire suppression systems into vehicle architectures.
    • Perform thorough testing, validation, and optimisation of system components to ensure adherence to performance and safety standards.
    • Generate technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and manufacturing instructions.
    • Stay abreast of advancements in fire suppression technology and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the organisation.
