Position Overview:

As a Sustainability Consultant specializing in BREEAM New Construction Assessment, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our clients' building projects meet the highest standards of sustainability and environmental performance. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, providing expert guidance, and facilitating the certification process to help our clients achieve their sustainability objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform BREEAM assessments for new construction projects in accordance with the latest BREEAM standards and guidelines.
2. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate sustainable design principles into building plans and specifications.
3. Conduct on-site inspections and evaluations to verify compliance with BREEAM requirements throughout the construction process.
4. Provide comprehensive reports and recommendations to clients on strategies for optimizing sustainability performance and achieving BREEAM certification.
5. Act as a subject matter expert on sustainable building practices, regulations, and industry trends, and advise clients on best practices for achieving their sustainability goals.
6. Support business development efforts by participating in client meetings, preparing proposals, and promoting our sustainability consulting services.
7. Stay abreast of updates and changes to BREEAM standards and other relevant sustainability frameworks, and ensure compliance with evolving requirements.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
2. Certification as a BREEAM New Construction Assessor is required.
3. Proven experience conducting BREEAM assessments for new construction projects.
4. Strong knowledge of sustainable building design principles, green building materials, and energy efficiency technologies.
5. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical data and evaluate environmental performance metrics.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, project teams, and stakeholders.
7. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Proficiency in relevant software tools and platforms for sustainability assessment and reporting.
