Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a Psychology Graduate to work as a Teaching Assistant in Cardiff.

We understand that not everyone may have experience working in a school setting, so we offer additional training through our CPD courses as wellas our in-house TA School to ensure that you are well-prepared for this role.

Your psychology background will be an asset in working with SEN students as it will give you an understanding of the different learning styles and ways to support students with specific needs.

As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

Supporting teachers in the classroom
Assisting with individual and small group work
Helping to prepare materials and resources
Providing feedback to teachers on student progress
Supporting students with SEN in the classroom
Helping students to develop their social and emotional skills

To be considered for this role, you will need:

A degree in psychology or related field
DBS clearance and EWC registration
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A passion for working with children and making a positive impact on their education.
