Accounts Assistant
Are you an organised and proactive Assistant Accountant looking to join a friendly and modern company?

We are recruiting an Assistant Accountant for one of our favourite Accountancy Practices in Portsmouth This is an amazing opportunity to join a company that offers excellent work flexibility, hybrid working with no set hours and unlimited holiday.

As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:

Prepare and submit VAT returns
Payroll
Invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations
Supporting accounts prep
Responding to questions and queries
Ad hoc project work

You will have the following skills and experience:

Studying or studied an AAT or ACCA qualification
Experience in a similar role, ideally an accountancy practice
A team player who is able to use their own initiative
Proactive and organised

Salary:

£25,000 to £30,000
