    SEN Casework Officer - Ref: CH14523

    Salary G7:
    £31,364 - £35,745 per annum.

    Are you interested in working to support children and young people with additional needs?

    We are looking for efficient and hardworking Casework Officers with experience in the area of special educational needs.

    Working withing the legislative framework, you will be responsible for co-ordinating the assessment, production and review of Education Health and Care (EHC) Plans and other aspects of special educational needs of pupils.

    You will have a caseload related to a defined geographical area, and work closely with parents, carers and professionals from a range of statutory agencies.

    You will need a background in education and/or special needs and be able to evidence excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to relate to parents, carers, and professionals.

    You will also need to demonstrate strong communication, prioritisation, and negotiation skills. You will be working to challenging deadlines and will need to have a flexible approach.

    There is an emphasis on team working and striving to continuous improvement to our service within a customer care environment.
