HOURS OF WORK:
Days with early finish on Fridays


BASIC SALARY:
£17.95 per hour

Yearly bonus of 3-5% of salary, private medical, 26 days holiday plus BH.Company ProfileOur client is seeking a CNC Turner to join their friendly organisation based in Wellingborough on a permanent basis.

Under limited supervision you will be responsible for machining predominantly 1 off parts to design specifications.

In this CNC Turner role, you will be responsible for:

• Machine standard and bespoke components for various machines.
• Machine parts using CNC lathes.
• Keeping records of time and material used on jobs.
• Support engineering and production with any changes to machine build.
• Support engineering with parts for research and development.

To be successful as a CNC Turner you will have:

• CNC and manual machining knowledge with 3-5 years' experience.
• Knowledge of working with Prototract, SLX, Siemens, Shopmill (would be an advantage but training will be provided)
• Read mechanical drawings.
• Mechanical skills.
• General problem-solving skills and practical aptitude.
• Ability to work as part of a team and display a willingness to learn and put skills into practice.
• Excellent communication.
